Reinventing Water

 

It is important that we hydrate because it can encourage overall health and wellness. The truth is, we give little importance to hydration and water in general. It is time that we give importance to water. If we have kids who are not fond of plain water, we can reinvent water and make it exciting every day.

Here’s how we can reinvent water:

  • Squeeze it: If we want our children to love water, we have to give it a squeeze. This means that we can squeeze fruits like lemon or lime. If we have a juicer at home, that will do. There are many juicers here in Singapore that we can readily purchase.
  • Infuse it: If we want different vitamins at once, we can infuse our water with fruits. We have to fill the jug with water and add sliced fruits before refrigerating overnight. Breakfast will surely be nutritious.
  • Soak it: If our kids love pineapples, we can put chunks of pineapple in water and let it soak for at least 2 hours.

  • Mash it: If the kids love raspberries and blueberries, we can mash them together at the bottom of the glass and then fill it with water.
  • Cube it: Children love ice cubes. We can grab this opportunity by making flavoured ice cubes. We can then add water together with the cubes.
  • Tear it: If we like mint, we tear some leaves and let it steep in water before we drink it.
  • Drop it: If we have clementine slices, we can freeze it until it resembles ice cubes. We can then pour water in a glass and drop the slices. It will serve as our ice cube.
